Teacher Grant Program

 

Each year, the Ironia PTA provides funding for the Teacher Grant Program.  The goal of the program is to fund materials that offer creative, innovative approaches to the delivery of curriculum, benefiting as many children as possible.  All Ironia staff members who are registered members of the PTA are eligible to submit a grant request.

 

Grant proposals are submitted in the spring.  Staff members may submit individual grants or submit a proposal as part of a team.  Each grant has a limit of $1,000.  Evaluation of all grants is performed by the PTA Grant Committee using a pre-established rubric.  Thanks to the hard work of our many fundraising committees and the generosity of the Ironia families, we are pleased to announce that the grant budget for 2009-2010 is $6,000.  (Note:  the budget is dependent on the success of our fundraisers).  The Teacher Grant Application will be available in March 2010.  Grants will be awarded in May 2010.
